Why (D) is most likely event? Higher the P(E) is, higher the number of occurences of event E is. Therefore D is the most likely event. Why (A) are least likely events? According to the definition of probability, less the probability of event E is, less the number of occurences of E is. And P(A) is the least among the other three, therefore A is the least likely event. Why (A) is most predictable event? 1-P(A) =1-0.15=0.85 The probabilty that event A do not happen is the highest. We can more confident that A will not happen. Therefore it is the most predictable event. Why (C) is least predictable events? 1-P(C) =1-0.55=0.45 Therefore the probabilty that P(C) do not happen is 0.45. It is very close to P(C). Therefore we are least confident to predict will C happen. Therefore C is the least predictable event.
